Moment Prince Harry knew Meghan Markle ‘was not being treated as she should’

Prince Harry admitted Meghan Markle was deeply disrespected by Queen Elizabeth II’s hair stylist at the time of her wedding.

The Duchess of Sussex, who wanted to fix tiara trials with Angela Kelly back in 2018, was given tough time during the meetings.

Royal author Valentine Low in book Courtiers: the Hidden Power Behind the Crown, notes that Harry thought that the Queen’s dresser was being difficult and ‘obstructive.’

Speaking on Reading the Royals, the Daily Mail’s diary editor, Richard Eden said: “Harry felt that Meghan wasn’t being treated as she should. Everyone should show her great respect, and here was a servant, who was being quite difficult and obstructive. It set a bad tone for the marriage and relationship with the Royal Family.”

Prince Harry left the Royal Family back in 2020 alongside wife Meghan Markle and son, Prince Archie. The couple later accused the Royal Family of showcasing racism towards their son and publicly shared their grievances on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
