Snoop Dogg thinks he’s the perfect candidate to host Master Chef UK after Greg Wallace’s exit.

The award-winning rapper, 53, is also confident that he would easily get his friend, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey’s seal of approval.

“You better believe Snoop could be the new Master Chef judge,” People Magazine quoted the rapper. “My boy Gordon [Ramsay] judges on the U.S. version of the show, and I know he would back me to be able to judge on the U.K. version.”

“He knows I am not playing when it comes to food. He knows I can cook – I have even given him some tips. I hosted a cooking show over here [Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party] and I have always been vocal about wanting to work on a U.K. show.”

Snoop Dogg’s hope to make a living off hosting Master Chef comes shortly after Wallace — one of Master Chef‘s longtime co-hosts — resigned from the show.

For those unversed, Wallace’s exit comes on the foot of allegations of inappropriate sexual comments made by 13 people who worked with him between 2005 and 2022, per BBC News.

Wallace, 60, hit back via Instagram Stories saying his accusers were “a handful of middle-class women of a certain age,” which sparked intense controversy.

“Look, this is important to me,” he added. “20 years… do you know how many staff, all different sorts of staff, do you know how many staff complained about me in that time?” Wallace said. “Absolutely none. Zero. Seriously.”

Meanwhile, Wallace’s former co-host John Torode, 59—who remains on the BBC cooking show—condemned Wallace’s actions. Wallace has since unfollowed Torode on social media.

“The thought of anyone who has appeared on our show not having a brilliant experience is awful to hear and I have found the recent press reports truly upsetting,” Torode wrote on Instagram earlier this month.
