Queen Camilla will continue her annual tradition of inviting children to decorate the Christmas tree at Clarence House amid her health woes.

The palace has confirmed that the Queen will welcome families to Clarence House on Thursday, 12th December, for an afternoon of Christmas tree decorating, lunch and surprises.

The palace announcement was shared by the Majesty Magazine on its official X, formerly Twitter handle.

Last year, Camilla also continued her annual tradition of inviting children, supported by Helen & Douglas House and Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity for the 17th time.

The children and their families enjoyed musical performances by The Band and Bugles of The Rifles and received a special surprise visit from Father Christmas and his reindeer.

Camilla became Patron of Helen & Douglas House in 2007 when she was the Duchess of Cornwall.

Queen Camilla, 77, was forced to cancel a number of public engagements after contracting a chest infection in November.

She and King Charles also skipped Kate Middleton’s annual Christmas carol service.

Meanwhile, Queen Camilla revealed she had pneumonia.

According to UK media, she told guests at Buckingham Palace last week that a bout of pneumonia led her to cancel several events.
