Queen Camilla’s son will turn down royal family’s invitation for Christmas celebration?
Tom Parker Bowles, the son of Queen Camilla, thinks there’s “no great conspiracy theory” surrounding his mother’s health condition, said a report in PEOPLE.
Appearing on The Go To Food Podcast, Bowles, who is a food critic and a writer, spoke about his mother’s health when the host Freddy Clode asked, “how is your ma doing. Because she was a bit under the weather. Is she going to be in full recovery mode for silly season?”
Answering the question, the 49-year-old said “I think so, I think, yeah, these things go around… these bugs.”
He added, “I think…she did the [Australia] tour and she caught some kind of awful bug and then before she was well again, [she] worked too hard as she’s one to do.”
Although he avoided sharing specific details, Tom Parker touched on the subject of the royal family’s Christmas celebration in Sandringham.
“Usually I spend it with my ex-wife and children, sat in my … not quite my boxer shorts, but my tracksuit bottoms, cooking obviously, beef,” he joked before sharing, “I’m not sure about this Christmas at the moment … very kindly have been invited.”
However, Parker Bowles said his attendance at Sandringham comes down to his children because he considers Christmas “a time to be together” and would like to be with them. He also further joked, “It’s been quite a while since I put on something smart for Christmas, gone to church … so genuinely not entirely sure, but I’m sure that it will work itself out.”
