Coleen Rooney recently shared why she felt out of place and worried about being “too quiet” to keep up with big personalities during her early days in the I’m A Celeb camp.

While having a conversation with Daily Mail, Rooney confessed that she first thought she would be “too quiet” to match the big personalities in camp.

She also mentioned that she felt “a bit on edge” during her first few days there, but her campmates helped her feel more at ease.

The 38-year-old reality star quipped, “It didn’t really come across in the edit at all, but those first days were slightly, a bit uncomfortable, perhaps because of the personalities.”

Rooney went on to say, “It wasn’t uncomfortable. They made it comfortable. It was just me sitting back and looking at camp and thinking, I was more quieter than everyone else. That was it.”

“Do you know what? I was just myself, and that was the thing going in there,” she added, calling to mind those days.

Rooney recalled by saying, “The first week I just thought, I can’t see me, not me lasting as a person, but me going all the way because I was just me. And we had loads of personalities in there who were great, and I got on with.”

She continued, “But they were performers, singers, dancers, and comedians. I felt like I was at times just sat there thinking, what do I bring with me?” and added before concluding, “But obviously people enjoyed her and wanted me to stay in there longer and see a bit more of me.”

It is pertinent to mention that Rooney was loved by viewers and came second on I’m A Celeb, losing to winner Danny Jones.
