Billie Eilish shares insights about composing ‘Birds Of A Feather’
Billie Eilish has shared insights into her team work with her brother, Finneas O’Connell.
On December 13, she posted a behind the scenes recording of a song from her album Hit Me Hard and Soft.
In the clip, the songstress was sitting beside her brother, who helps Billie in writing and producing her songs, and discussed how to sing the song, Birds Of A Feather.
“February 16th 2023 lil video of the beginnings of birds of a feather,” the 22-year-old singer penned a caption to Instagram.
At the time, Finneas began by singing the lyrics of the chorus, “Birds of a feather, we should stick together, I know (‘Til the day that I die) / I said I’d never think I wasn’t better alone (‘Til the light leaves my eyes) / Can’t change the weather, might not be forever (‘Til the day that I die) But if it’s forever, it’s even better.”
While composing the song, Billie appreciated Finneas for singing lyrics and said, “I love that idea.”
The video also showed Peaches O’connell, Billie’s dog, lying on the couch throughout the-scene who grabbed attention and they took to the comment section to express their feelings.
“Peaches just slumped in the backkk love it,” one said. Whereas another noted, “Look doggy tired after playing guitar.”
“OMG HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH LOOK AT PEACHES BACK THERE,” a third also chimed in to say.
For those unversed, Billie Eilish’s song BIRDS OF A FEATHER from Album Hit Me Hard and Soft was released in May.
