Prince William, Kate Middleton’s treatment of staff revealed after royal maid arrest
The way Prince William and Kate Middleton treat their staff in the Palace has just come to light following the housemaid fiasco.
The news has been shared by royal biographer Robert Lacey, and he dished on the entire approach in his book Battle of the Brothers.
Per an excerpt that has been obtained by The Sun, Prince William and Kate are “paternalistic with their staff.”
“They copy The Queen in that respect with all her Christmas parties and Christmas presents to her people,” the expert noted. “They’re proud to treat their staff like family.”
Another thing is that since the couple “recognize that [the staff] don’t get paid loads of money, so they are just really nice to them,” Mr Lacey noted near the conclusion of his converastion.
For those unversed, this is the first time anything related to the royal aides have come to light since one of them sparked headlines for punching a manager at the All Bar One in London.
This happened after pre-party drinks happened at Buckingham Palace, for the annual Christmas party.
According to the same outlet, “a woman believed to be a housemaid aimed a punch at the manager, smashed glasses and was arrested,” that night.
