Appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers alongside Anna Wintour this week, the host congratulated Rocky on the baby news and got straight to the important questions, first asking if the new addition to the family will share the same first initial as the rest of the gang.

For context, Rihanna, Rocky, and their two sons all have names that start with “R.” Rihanna’s real name is Robyn Fenty, Rocky’s birth name is Rakim Mayers, and their adorable boys are named RZA Athelston and Riot Rose.

Sensing a family tradition, Seth asked: “So your first two kids have ‘R’ names. Obviously, you and Rihanna have ‘R’ names. Is this a lock that the third will have an ‘R’ name, do you think?” In response, Rocky said: “For sure,” prompting applause from the audience.

There’s no confirmation as to when Rihanna is due to give birth, although I don’t doubt we’ve got a good few months to come up with a list of possible “R” names. Interestingly, fans noticed that both Rihanna and Rocky incorporated ruby jewels into their looks at the Met Gala, sparking theories that the baby’s name might be Ruby. It fits the bill, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
