A$AP Rocky pays tribute to Rihanna with iconic custom jewelry

A$AP Rocky is giving a closer look at his iconic gold ring made to look like his partner Rihanna.

The rapper recently took Vogue behind the scenes for his Harlem-inspired look two days before the fashion’s biggest night out.

However, one noteworthy item spotted in the video was a massive gold statue ring that was a replica of Rihanna.

The ornate piece of jewellery, designed by Jason Arasheben of Jason of Beverly Hills, showed the statue dressed in a strapless, cleavage-baring minidress that was studded with diamonds. The head of the statue was decorated in gold chain links meant to emulate long braids.

The soon-to-be dad-of-three also took a moment to gush over the Rihanna-shaped ring. 

“You see this sexy thing? My shorty got the little fatty on her too,” Rocky said in the video, trying the ring on his left pinky finger and holding it up to the camera to give a better look.

“You see that forehead? You know who it is.”

Though Rocky showed off his Rihanna ring in the Met Gala behind-the-scenes, the rapper did not wear the piece to the 2025 Met Gala, which followed the theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

Instead, Rocky wore Bulgari rings and added a necklace, brooch, and multiple stud earrings from the brand to complete his overall dapper outfit.

Rocky, who was one of the four co-chairs at the gala, was dressed in a custom design from his AWGE creative agency consisting of a black vest, white button-down top, slacks, and a classic black tie for the gala.

He also wore a Marmot-inspired parka—a nod to the jackets popularised by kids in his neighborhood—over the suit and paired the look with oxford shoes that AWGE made in collaboration with Christian Louboutin.
