After They Switched Seats At The Oscars, Timothée Chalamet’s Mom Commented On Her Relationship With Kylie Jenner

We all know the feeling of getting into a new relationship and desperately wanting to impress your partner’s family. And for Kylie Jenner, that means securing the seal of approval from the Chalamets.

So, you’ll hardly need me to tell you that Kylie has reportedly been dating Timothée Chalamet since 2023. Kylie and Timothée are suuuper private and, to this day, have never talked publicly about the details of their relationship. However, the pair do occasionally step out together at public events to remind us how cute they are (See their recent Coachella appearance).

With so much mystique surrounding the couple, there’s been a lot of speculation about how they’re bonding with each other’s famous and not-so-famous family members. And while we’ve gotten hints of the relationships (like footage of Kylie and Pauline Chalamet at a fashion show, and photos of Timothée hanging out with Corey Gamble at a Lakers game), we still know very little about the closeness of these two families.

But now, after she and Kylie attended the Oscars together in March, Timothée’s mom has shared some sweet insight into her relationship with her son’s super-famous girlfriend — and I’m obsessed with how typical mom vibes it is.

As well as raising two successful actors, Timmy’s mom, Nicole Flender, is also a real estate agent in NYC, and in a recent interview with Curbed, she discussed Timothée’s recent purchase of an $11 million property in Beverly Hills, near where Kylie lives with her two young kids, Stormi and Aire.

“Did he ask for my advice? No. He said, ‘Guess what? I bought a house,’” Nicole joked. She did not explicitly mention the proximity to Kylie’s, although she did give the 27-year-old cosmetics mogul a sweet shoutout. “I have to say she’s lovely,” Nicole said of Kylie. “She’s very nice to me.”

Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve gotten a glimpse of Kylie and Nicole together. As previously mentioned, both women attended the Oscars with Timothée in March and wound up making headlines when fans noticed that Kylie switched seats with Nicole so that she could sit in the front row next to her son when the Best Actor category was announced.

Despite Timmy’s Oscar loss, fans praised Kylie’s “classy” and “respectful” move during such an important moment — and I don’t doubt that Nicole was appreciative, too. Now, I just need to hear Kris Jenner talk about Timothée… I’m waiting.
