Andrew Garfield’s Secret X Account Might Have Just Been Exposed By Florence Pugh In An Awkward Interview Moment

I don’t want to alarm you, but it sounds like Andrew Garfield could be tweeting among us mere mortals.

As you are probably aware, Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh are currently working the promo circuit for their new movie, We Live in Time, and it has been a true joy to watch.

The British actors have repeatedly delighted fans with their palpable chemistry and top-notch banter in their joint interviews, with many people commenting on how iconic the stars are as a duo.

Amid the interviews, Vanity Fair decided to put Andrew and Florence’s friendship to the test, with the pair quizzing one another on how well they know each other in a video that was posted on Wednesday.

However, Florence may have gotten a little too honest when it came to answering questions about Andrew, and appeared to accidentally reveal that he is secretly active on X, formerly known as Twitter.

In case you didn’t know, 41-year-old Andrew doesn’t have any public profiles on any social media platform, which makes Florence’s revelation kind of a big deal.

It all started when Andrew asked: “What is my favorite social network to use?” to which Florence initially exclaimed: “What?!”

“Well, you don’t have any public social network,” she then confirmed, before unwittingly adding with confidence: “But the ones that you do, that I do know of you using, you tweet. Not much, but you do do twits.”

Keeping his head down in an apparent attempt to appear blasé, Andrew quietly replied: “I’ve never tweeted.”

Seemingly not picking up on the hint, Florence continued: “Oh, I’m sorry — but you do look at twits a lot.”

At this point, Andrew quickly interrupted her and exclaimed: “You were right the first time — no social network!”

He then held the piece of card that he’d written his answer on over his mouth as he turned to look at Florence in an apparent attempt to convey a message to her.

“Oh, so I shouldn’t have said that,” Florence awkwardly acknowledged, before quickly diving into the next question.

While Andrew, of course, denied Florence’s claim, if what she said is true, then he is far from the only celeb to have his secret social media presence accidentally exposed by a famous pal.

In fact, earlier this year, Julianne Moore hit the headlines when she appeared to tag Andrew Scott’s secret Instagram account when she shared a picture with him to her story.

Karlie Kloss made a similar faux pas in 2018, when she revealed Princess Beatrice’s private Instagram by tagging the account in her story.

Do you think that Andrew Garfield is secretly tweeting among us mere mortals? Or did Florence simply make an innocent mistake? Let me know in the comments!
