Ariana Grande Has Shut Down Viral Speculation That She Is Secretly “Campaigning” To Play Audrey Hepburn In A Biopic

When speaking to Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, Ariana was asked about her subtle nods to Audrey in her latest looks, with the star replying: “I love the 50s, 60s glamour, that’s just kind of my favorite — Marilyn, Audrey, it’s just my favorite.”

And when asked if she was going to “manifest” the Audrey role in the same way that she manifested Glinda, Ariana seemed shocked. She said: “Oh my goodness, oh my goodness. I have no idea.”

“That would have to be done so well and so perfectly and have to be the… I don’t know,” she went on. “No way that I could.”

Responding to somebody else saying that she could do the role justice, Ariana remained humble as she said: “That’s very kind.”
