Benny Blanco reveals rare life lesson Selena Gomez helped him learn

During this chat, he also opened up about the profound impact his fiancée has had on his perspective.

When asked about the most inspirational woman he’s collaborated with, Blanco’s answer was clear, he answered, “Most recently, it became Selena.”

For those unversed, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco announced their engagement in December 2024 after dating for over a year.

He went on to explain, “When you’re recording someone, it’s like a therapy session.”

“You say, ‘Hey, how you doing?’ They say, ‘Oh, I’m doing great.”’ And you say, ‘No, how you really doing?’ They go, ‘No, I’m doing good’ And then you say, ‘How you really doing’ And then they’re like, ‘I hate this! I want to do this. I want to do that,’” he continued.

“You get deep with someone, and you never know how it’s going to go,” Benny shared and added that his relationship with Selena has shifted his understanding of interpersonal dynamics.

“I learned from Selena that when you have patience and love for another person, it makes everything so much easier,” he revealed before moving to a new topic.
