Brenda Vaccaro opens up about returning to films at 85

Brenda Vaccaro recently got candid and talked about working in movies at this stage in her life.
While conversing with PEOPLE magazine about her new Netflix film Nonnas, the 85-year-old American film actress shed light on returning to the screen, saying, “I really feel like I’m a kid.”
Vaccaro further added, “When someone says 85, I think, what? I can’t even believe it myself. I just keep working. Talking about age is boring.”
Expanding on this, the Midnight Cowboy girl laughingly noted, “I don’t have a problem with age other than I don’t want to acknowledge it. Your body changes and all of a sudden there’s sciatica. Things start to crumble in a kind of odd way.”
“All the women in my family have beautiful skin. I’ve never done anything. When you get older, you gain. Not lose,” she remarked.
For the unversed, Vaccaro has worked more than half a century in the world of entertainment, as she worked on movies and shows like Midnight Cowboy, Friends, Death Weekend, Supergirl, and more.
Notably, in the drama film, the Oscar-nominated actress is playing Antonella along with Vince Vaughn, Susan Sarandon, Lorraine Bracco, Stanley Tucci, and Talia Shire.
It is pertinent to mention that Nonnas was released on May 9, 2025.
