Britney Spears Revealed Why She Moved To Mexico, And It’s Kind Of Sad
“That’s why I moved to Mexico.”
After years of living in the greater Los Angeles area, Britney Spears apparently moved to Mexico recently — and now she’s explaining why she relocated.

In a video posted to Instagram, the iconic pop singer explained that she left the country (for now, at least) because of scrutiny she’s received by paparazzi and how it’s made her feel about herself.
“It really kind of hurts my feelings that the paparazzi make my face look like I’m wearing like a white Jason mask,” she said in the video, without referencing any specific photos that have recently been taken.

“It doesn’t even look like me. They’ve always been incredibly cruel to me, the paparazzi and pictures and the way they’ve illustrated me to be in some of it.”

“That’s why I’ve moved to Mexico,” Britney concluded, after again referencing the “extremely mean and cruel” treatment she’s received from paparazzi.
