Chappell Roan Accidentally Invited A Random Man Into Her TikTok Livestream And Could Not Hide Her Stress When He Refused To Leave

In addition to the awkwardness of the total stranger trying to cash in on Chappell’s faux pas, people have been left low-key impressed by the star speaking Punjabi.
Chappell Roan ended up in a bit of an unfortunate situation when she took to TikTok to promote her new single, “The Giver,” on Thursday, with the Grammy-winning star accidentally inviting a total stranger to join her livestream — which had over 26,000 viewers. The whole thing was made all the more awkward when the random man refused to leave and repeatedly challenged Chappell to a “match” in a bid to make money.
In a screen recording of the livestream that has since been shared to X, Chappell is visibly stressed as she and her friend Misha struggle to find a way to kick the man out of the live. The singer currently has 4.7 million followers on the app, and Chappell started the stream to connect with her fans.
Misha and Chappell also try to respond to the man in Punjabi, and can be heard politely saying “nahi” to his requests for a match, which means “no.” They also repeat “Allah hafiz,” which is Punjabi for “goodbye,” but the man refuses to leave.
Needless to say, fans found the entire thing pretty funny —with many also praising Chappell for her attempts to speak Punjabi. One person joked in response to the video: “chappell is new pakistani princess.”
