The YouTuber and rapper was first linked to Halle in January 2022. They welcomed a son, Halo, in December 2023, before splitting last October.

It looks like things have since become contentious because, on Friday, DDG posted a YouTube video titled, “She Won’t Let Me See My Son” — and said that “it’s been going on for a minute.”

“I don’t really like talking about real-life shit, but I feel like I have to,” he said. “It’s getting to a point where I feel like I’m honestly getting bullied when it comes to me just wanting to be a dad.”

While DDG said he does spend time with his son, it’s a “minimal” amount. “Every single day or every other day, I’m trying to see him, I’m trying to get him to come over,” he shared. “I never get him dropped off. I always go pick him up. I live far as shit. So I’m driving hours to go get him, and I get there, and I can’t get him, or I can’t see him.”

“I don’t know what it is,” he continued, “but it’s been going on for a minute.”

DDG said he didn’t want to bring the matter to the internet but did so as a “last resort.” According to him, the last straw came earlier that day when he went to see Halo and was allegedly “kicked out.” “I planned my whole day to be with him. My whole day was around that, and then I get there, and I’m kicked out of the crib, can’t see him.”

“I been dealing with this forever where I feel like I’m a secondary parent,” he said. “Every time I’m [with him], he got a smile on his face, he’s happy to see me, but he only can see me for no more than 48 hours. I haven’t had to have my son to myself for longer than 72 hours. He’s getting picked up, taken away. I can’t come get him, whatever.”

“I don’t know what to do at this point,” he added. “I just feel like it needs to be some kind of repercussions for this because I’m not a deadbeat.”

DDG said he also didn’t speak out sooner because he was trying to protect Halle’s “golden image.” “But this shit is foul.”

Halle hasn’t yet commented, but the drama comes four months after they publicly clashed over Halo’s involvement on a live stream. At the time, the singer tweeted her disapproval, prompting mixed reactions as people accused her of hypocrisy, given that she regularly posts Halo on her personal social media pages.
