Doja Cat addresses plastic surgery mishap
Doja Cat has broken her silence on a surgical mishap that caught attention at a recent public appearance.
The Grammy-winning rapper, 29, put her cleavage on display in a slinky chainmail minidress with an extremely low neckline this Saturday at iHeartRadio’s 102.7 KIIS FM Wango Tango music festival.
However, pictures from the event sparked a chatter about the unusual appearance of her chest as part of it appeared lopsided.
Taking to X, the artist recently addressed the matter by opening up about a surgical mishap she had not disclosed before.
“Don’t clock my contracted implant it’s all I ask,” she wrote in a post shared on May 11.
Her condition is also known as capsular contracture, which is when the body forms a barrier of scar tissue around a foreign object like implants, states the American Society for Plastic Surgeons website.
The healing process helps secure the implant but in some cases, the scar tissue can also harden and contract around the insert, causing pain and undesired aesthetics, the site adds.
