Dolly Parton sparks collab rumors with Taylor Swift after recent move

Taylor Swift fans are speculating that Dolly Parton will get featured in the Lovers singer’s upcoming project

Recently Parton started following Swift on Instagram, leading fans to guess that the singers are collaborating on Taylor’s Version of her 2006 debut album.

A fan took to X (formerly known as Twitter), and inquired, “Could this be a sign of a potential collaboration?” sharing a screenshot of accounts that the Jolene singer follows.

More Swifties rushed to social media to anticipate the potential collab, one tweeted, “I’ll never shut up if Queen Dolly is on Debut TV.”

Another wrote, “IF DOLLY IS ON DEBUT TV I WILL NEVER RECOVER IT WILL BE THE BEST THING THATS EVER HAPPENED.”

Parton previously praised Swift’s work at Billboard‘s 2020 Women in Music event.

While receiving the hitmaker award at the music award show, she gave a special shout to the Cardigan singer, saying “all of the wonderful women in show business that write all of these wonderful songs.”

Parton went on to say, “Cindy Walker, who wrote some of the greatest songs ever and of course Loretta Lynn, wonderful wonderful songwriter,’ Parton said. ‘And this day in time, of course, Taylor Swift, she’s just right up there, probably number one.”
