Donny Osmond celebrates 47th wedding anniversary with wife Debbie

Donny Osmond and his sweetheart Debbie Glenn are marking their 47th year as a married couple.

The singer, 67, commemorated the milestone with a throwback monochrome photo together via Instagram on Thursday.

“Thank you, Debbie, for saying yes to my proposal 47 years ago and for sharing this incredible and crazy adventure through show business with me,” Donny wrote in the tribute post.

“You’ve been more than I could have ever hoped for—my partner, my anchor, my inspiration, and my dear wife.”

He also shared the post to his Instagram Stories, set to the tune of the 1981 song Endless Love by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie.

Donny and Debbie first met when they were teenagers and 15-year-old Debbie was dating his brother Jay at the time, per her Facebook post.

After Debbie and Jay split, she and Donny dated for three years before getting married at the Salt Lake Utah Temple in 1978.

The pair went on to welcome five sons together, including Don Jr., Jeremy, Brandon, Chris, and Josh—who then started families of their own and gave the couple 14 grandchildren.
