Eamonn Holmes updates fans about ‘unexpected journey’

Eamonn Holmes recently shared his health update with fans.

As per a new report of Independent, Eamonn Holmes recently revealed to with his fans that he was taken to the hospital via ambulance after suffering a fall in his bathroom.

Sharing the incident, which reportedly took place earlier in the day, the 65-year-old broadcaster described it as an “unexpected journey” and admitted, “Gosh it hurts.”

In addition to this, Eamonn updated his fans from hospital bed and wrote on Instagram, “Not how I wanted to be spending The Holiday weekend… but life’s not easy these days.”

It is pertinent to mention that this injury comes amid his divorce from wife, Ruth Langsford. The duo, who had been together since 1996 announced their split last year.

“Thanks to everybody who is looking after me,” Eamonn concluded in his post.

For those unversed, this incident adds to a series of health struggles for Eaomonn, who previously described the last year and a half as “tough,” leaving him “basically disabled” and requiring a carer for everyday tasks, which he finds “humiliating and humbling.
