Eminem’s mother, Debbie Nelson passes away at 69
Eminem’s mom Debbie Nelson has passed away at the age of 69.
Debbie died on Monday, December 2, 2024 after a long battle with lung cancer.
According to a report by TMZ, several sources have confirmed the news of her passing.
However, the news of Debbie’s cancer diagnosis was reported by several outlets in September.
Debbie had a strained relationship with her son throughout much of his life. However, she reportedly reconciled with the Without Me rapper in recent years.
In 2022, Debbie took to social media to congratulate her son Eminem as he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Expressing her pride in a now deleted video, Debbie said, “Marshall, I want to say, I could not let this day go by without congratulating you on your induction into the Hall of Fame. I love you very much. I knew you’d get there. It’s been a long ride. I’m very, very proud of you.”
It is worth mentioning that the rapper has yet not shared any statement regarding the news.
