Goldie Hawn remembers comedian Ruth Buzzi after her death


Goldie Hawn paid a heartfelt tribute to her late Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In castmate Ruth Buzzi following her death at the age of 88.
Taking to her Instagram handle on Friday, the 79-year-old actress shared a black and white image of herself with the comedian along with a sweet note.
“My Ruthie, you’re gone, and it hurts so deeply,” she began the lengthy post.
The Overboard star further penned, “I’ll always treasure our daily calls, how we could talk endlessly, even after long days. You were my girlfriend, my heart through life’s ups and downs. You made me laugh like no one else could.”
“A one of a kind soul who brought so much laughter and light to the world,” she continued. “Those deep, joyful laughs we shared, especially while making Laugh In, will stay with me forever. I love you.”
Concluding her touching tribute, Goldie penned, “I love you. Wishing you peace and beautiful travels in the arms of the angels.”
For those unversed, Ruth breathed her last on Thursday, May 1, at the age of 88. As per latest reports, the comedian “died peacefully in her sleep at home in Texas.”
