Hailey Bieber responded to a message amid the online hate that she’s been receiving.
There has been a resurgence of negativity towards the model and wife of Justin Bieber due to a number of things. For one, there’s been a recent increase in interest in a video which goes through her history with Justin and calls her a “psycho stalker” — the YouTube version has 4.2 million views (if you’ve heard about a seven-part series on TikTok, it’s referring to this).
It’s worth noting that the video is rife with inaccuracies and exaggerations. Let’s take an early excerpt: It confuses the timeline of Hailey meeting Justin at the Today show and suggests she was at multiple events of his, rather than just the one. It then says that Hailey “follow[ed] him to Los Angeles” for the premiere of Never Say Never, without disclosing that this happened two years later (and was also in New York).
Lest you think I’m exaggerating, here are the comments under Hailey’s latest TikTok:
There’s also been the release of Selena Gomez’s and Benny Blanco’s new album, leading to even more fan speculation. Justin and Hailey have alluded to the increased scrutiny, with both of them “liking” an Instagram post that spoke about “Jobless people tearing Hailey Bieber apart.”
Justin also shared a 2019 post of Hailey’s where she wrote, “It’s hard finding who you are, but what’s even harder is being picked apart and compared to other women while trying to do that. There are days that I’m simply broken because of it. I’m gonna do my very best to just be ME and be confident with who I am.” He added, “Still relevant boo.”
Now, Hailey has responded to a TikTok where the user said, “Hailey, I want you to know that for every person who has ever hated on you on the internet, or will ever hate you, there are two who love you. We all love you so much and you just maybe don’t hear it as much because hate is always louder than love on the internet.”
In response, Hailey wrote, “You are so sweet and beautiful! Thank you.”
So yeah, maybe let’s calm down on the whole “stalker” front, especially for a woman who recently gave birth…
