Between a world tour and a DWI arrest, it was somewhat of a chaotic summer for Justin Timberlake.
In case you need reminding, in the early hours of June 18, Justin was arrested in Sag Habour, New York, for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
At the time of his arrest, Justin was two months into his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which meant it was only a matter of days before he addressed the situation on stage in Chicago, telling fans: “I know sometimes I’m hard to love, but you keep on loving me, and I love you right back.”
Fast forward to September, and Justin pleaded guilty to driving while impaired. As part of the plea deal he struck with prosecutors to resolve the case, the former NSYNC star gave a public safety announcement urging people never to get behind the wheel of a car “even if you’ve had one drink.”
Back in June, a source told People that Justin’s wife of 12 years, Jessica Biel, was “not happy” about his arrest and the “negative” attention it brought upon their family.
And now, a source has followed up with the outlet, claiming that Justin has “done everything he can” to “make up for” the situation.
The latest report comes after Justin gave Jessica a special shoutout in honor of their 12th wedding anniversary on Oct. 4 while performing in Montreal as part of his ongoing tour.
The People insider claims that the couple are now “both relieved” that his arrest is “in the past,” adding: “They are both committed to staying married. Jess thinks he’s a wonderful dad. They’re a great team.”
