Here’s Why Tom Holland Skips Zendaya’s Red Carpets
Zendaya had two big movies come out just last year — Challengers and Dune: Part Two — with Tom noticeably absent from the premieres.
Tom Holland is Zendaya‘s biggest fan — we can tell from how he’s always hyping her up and gushing over her and her accomplishments. But when it comes to attending Zendaya’s red carpets, he typically chooses to skip them to keep the focus on her.

Tom told Men’s Health that in general, he can’t easily attend certain events, like the theater, as his celebrity tends to distract from other actors.

It’s the very reason he doesn’t attend red carpets for Zendaya’s TV and movie premieres. “Because it’s not my moment,” he explained. “It’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”

The pair last walked the red carpet in 2021 for the premiere of their movie Spider-Man: No Way Home. And even though Tom hasn’t been seen at her recent premieres, he noted that, most times, he’s there behind the scenes.

The duo, who confirmed their relationship in 2021, tend to be incredibly private about their romance, but from Tom’s interview, it sounds like it’s going great.

He said that they had even just got a dog named Daphne. “She’s so cute, man, it’s actually a joke,” Tom said of the Doberman.

Last April, a source also told People that he and Zendaya have even discussed marriage. “There has been talk of marriage, and that is a reality,” the insider said. But “Work is important to both, and that keeps them busy now.”
