Kelly Clarkson shares her future dating plans
Kelly Clarkson has revealed she is not looking for someone to date three years after parting ways with Brandon Blackstock.
The singer and TV host shared her future dating plans on Tuesday during an appearance on the show, Today with Jenna and Friends.
“I’m not not looking and I’m not looking,” she told Jenna Bush Hager and guest cohost Matt Rogers. “I’m very busy.”
“You get this as a mom. I’ve got to focus right now. There’s a lot of work,” added Kelly, who shares River, 10, and Remy, 9, with Brandon.
The Kelly Clarkson Show host explained that her kids’ schedules are “busier” than hers, and being present in their lives is her priority.
“I’m running from my show to baseball practice and I’m trying to be just there. It’s a lot. My mom will tell me, ‘Look, I was a single mom. I didn’t get to make everything. They’re gonna be fine. You turned out fine,’” said Kelly.
For those unversed, Kelly called it quits with Brandon in March 2022 after six years of marriage.
