Khloé Kardashian Revealed That She Punched Lamar Odom In The Face When She Found Out That He Was Secretly Still Using Drugs While Recovering From His Near-Fatal Overdose

Khloé confronted her ex-husband Lamar for secretly using a “burner phone” to contact a drug dealer behind her back amid his harrowing recovery journey.
This post contains the mention of domestic violence as well as alcohol and substance misuse.
In the latest episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the exes further discussed their turbulent past as they reunited for the first time since their messy 2016 divorce.

Khloé filed for divorce from Lamar in 2013, though she temporarily paused the proceedings to oversee his medical care after he almost died from a drug overdose in 2015. The retired basketball player suffered 12 seizures and 6 strokes, though made a miraculous recovery — with Khloé remaining by his side at every step of the journey.

The pair were seemingly set to reunite for a brief moment, though Khloé ultimately filed for divorce again in 2016 after Lamar was spotted drinking alcohol just six months after he was released from hospital.

Now, as the exes sat down together for a candid chat after nine years apart, Khloé firmly reminded Lamar of how much she went through while he was in the hospital.

“I was there. I was there when your father said pull the plug so he can be on your life insurance,” Khloé said.

“I had to teach you hot from cold, diapers, to walk, all that,” she continued. “I was there through it all. I remember everything. I didn’t leave you for four months. I got [a] staph infection because I lived in a hospital.”

Lamar replied, “The person who went through the coma, I can’t even really tell you… if he was even thinking.”

But Khloé stood her ground as she responded, “But you had enough awareness to get a burner phone to call a drug dealer to get what you needed to send security away, to do what you needed to do, for me to find out and then for me to punch you in the face.”

“I punched you in the face, and I shattered everything in that house,” she added.

And while Lamar protested that he had no memory of what Khloé brought up, he admitted that not remembering what Khloé did and went through did not negate what happened.

“People always ask me about me and Khloé… I’m like, yo. She wiped my ass. I don’t literally remember her wiping my ass, but I know that I couldn’t wipe myself,” he said. “So, who else was doing it?”

“That shit shouldn’t have happened. [She’s] a beautiful woman,” he concluded.

In a confessional, Khloé explained her reasoning behind standing her ground when it came to Lamar, and how she has become a more “pessimistic” person because of what she experienced.

“I tried countless times to save Lamar from that,” she continued. “It was my first experience with anybody like that, and I had to learn the hard way that I can’t save anyone in that position. And I tried, and I tried, and I tried, and I almost lost myself, and I probably did at some points.”

However, despite keeping her composure in front of Lamar, Khloé revealed in a TikTok comment last week how difficult the meeting actually was for her.

“Right person– wrong time for sure
so much of the ‘what ifs’ play,” she wrote. “This meeting was hard for us both. Maybe in different ways
thank you for watching.”
