King Charles’ abdication inches closer as Christmastime comes into view
King Charles’ abdication plans has reportedly started getting louder given his cancer and how its progressing.
News about this has been shared by a royal source, during an In Touch magazine conversation.
During that time, the insider revealed, “The whispers that Charles is planning to step down are growing louder.”
Especially considering the fact that the last few months have been branded “particularly rough” to the King.
“Their work is exhausting,” the source also revealed.
And while “Charles waited so long to become king, but at this point, no one could blame him for giving up the throne so he can live the last months of his life in peace.”
“Insiders expect a historic announcement to be made around Christmastime,” as well.
“So William and Kate will be king and queen much sooner than anyone imagined,” they noted before signing off.
In terms of what Kate and William think of this plan, the insider said “It’s William’s duty to bring stability and pride to his country. And he and Kate are excited to finally make a difference and bring the royal family into the future. It’s their time — and they’re more than ready to rule.”
