King Charles defies cancer treatment to fulfil Royal duties

King Charles has refused to slow down amid ongoing treatment for cancer, honouring his late mother Queen Elizabeth II’s advice.
The monarch has been maintaining a packed work schedule royal duties as he follows the “keep calm and carry on” work ethic.
According to royal commentator Duncan Larcombe, the King’s determination to fulfil his role may even be causing him to push himself too hard.
The expert said that Charles has been sparking concerns that he may not be taking sufficient time to rest and recover, as reported by GB News.
“He has kept going, and you get the impression he’s been doing as much as he physically can,” Larcombe said.
He added, “I wonder if his doctors might privately be a bit annoyed that he hasn’t rested as much as he could have.”
This comes after OK! Magazine reported that Charles has left his own son Prince William behind with a huge win amid health battle.
According to royal author Andrew Morton, the monarch demonstrated remarkable resilience as he attended 118 public engagements despite cancer.
Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales could only attend 71 engagements as he was taken care of his wife, Kate Middleton, who was also diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
