King Charles and royal family celebrate 80th VE Day

The Royal Family just celebrated the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day.

As the Britain honours the end of World War II, King Charles and Queen Camilla marked the significant event of the country, alongside close and senior members of the family.

In the official post on the Instagram account of the family, the first picture can be seen as a collage of a throwback picture from the celebration picture of 1945 and a snap from today, 2025.

The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, joined the event and were commended by the royals for putting on a “spectacular flypast.”

King Charles and Prince William could be seen dressed in their standard ceremonial military uniforms, marveling at the display.

Additionally, the beloved Princess of Wales, who was recently diagnosed with cancer but has made significant recovery, Kate Middleton also attended the event along with her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Additionally, a video was also uploaded on the social media platform providing insights into the celebration of VE Day.

It featured a march by the members of the military and showed the King waving at the many fans in attendance along with his spouse, Queen Camilla, who wore an elegant royal blue dress with a matching hat.
