King Charles torn between sons, wants no ‘drama’ on Christmas
King Charles has found him at a tether’s end as reconciliation efforts with Prince Harry could trigger Prince William.
His Majesty, who preparing for family Christmas celebrations at Sandringham, is unlikely to invite Harry.
Expert Emily Andrews claimed in Woman magazine: “The King also does not want to create drama at Christmas with his other son, Prince William.
“I know from speaking to my own sources that if the King does talk to Harry about a possible return to royal life, it would need to involve William and that may jeopardise his good rapport with his elder son.”
“The Prince and Princess of Wales have had a torrid year, following the surgery, cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment of the princess. Now is not the time to open bilateral
discussions on the renegade royal Harry.”
She added: “It will be a quieter, more muted Christmas this year at Sandringham, I’m told.
Emily claimed: “But with both the King and Kate on the road to recovery health-wise, and once Harry’s court cases are all ended, perhaps there will be time to reconcile in the future.”
