Last week, it was reported that the 21-year-old attended the event after having dinner at Nobu in LA with their dad, Travis Barker, and stepmom, Kourtney Kardashian. Video footage then emerged of people waving light-up baby oil bottles of alcohol around an uncomfortable-looking Landon, with the bottle service referring to prosecutors’ claims over what was raided at Diddy’s house earlier this year. Another video from the event showed a DJ saying to the crowd, “We’re getting really freaky tonight. We’re getting Diddy freaky tonight.”

As per the BBC, “[Federal prosecutors] said Combs had used drugs, violence and the power of his status to ‘lure female victims’ into extended sex acts called ‘Freak Offs.'”

A source then told People that the event wasn’t held for Landon. “He, nor ownership, had any knowledge of the theme of the party, nor was he aware that the servers would be presenting bottles of baby oil that night for someone else,” they said. “He did not participate in the baby oil service and refused to engage.”

Now, Landon issued two TikTok videos to explain the situation himself. “I’d like to come on here and apologize and address the fact that people are saying I had this whole themed birthday party,” he began, before stating that his birthday party was instead “next week.”

“After Nobu, me and my friends wanted to go celebrate so my friend contacted a club promoter. The club promoter then said, ‘Hey, this guy is having a birthday party tonight. Do you guys want to come to this party?’ He said he’d give us a table and a bottle,” he continued.

“Everybody’s saying, ‘Why didn’t you leave right away?’ That was because I didn’t know what was going on right away. It was a dark environment and all I could really see was another table having flashing bottles being brought out,” he continued. “The bottles had flashing lights underneath them, so I wasn’t able to distinguish what they were. I’m just thinking they’re bringing out tequila with the bottle. I have no idea of what’s going on at this point.”

“Then they bring bottles onto our table, and that’s when I visibly notice that they have light up baby oil. I didn’t pick up the bottle once and I did not condone. I just went to a club to celebrate my birthday and ended up in a bad situation,” he said.

In another video, Landon denied that his friends intentionally dressed in all-white for the event. Alongside a photo of his friends, he said, “Formal attire is a white top and black pants for most people. It was like a fancy dinner. People just took their jackets off.”

So who the fuck thought it would be a good idea to throw the party in the first place…?
