Mariah Carey breaks silence on AI rumours about her Spotify wrapped video

Mariah Carey has set the record straight on AI rumours.

The songstress’ Spotify wrapped video caught everyone’s attention, sparking speculations of being created by artificial intelligence.

Responding to a post on X, Mariah wrote, “Bad lighting and a red lip have you all thinking this is AI??” adding, “There’s a reason I’m not a fan of either of those things! About to celebrate #Christmastime with my Boston #lambily!”

In the video, Mariah thanked her fans for their support and celebrated the 30th anniversary of her Merry Christmas album.

“Thank you so much for listening to my music on Spotify. Your support through the year is the greatest gift I could ask for,” the It’s a Wrap singer said.

She added, “This year we’re celebrating the 30th anniversary of my album Merry Christmas. I hope you enjoy listening to it and I can’t wait to share new music with you soon.”

It is worth mentioning that Mariah is currently on her Christmas Time Tour, which started in November and includes stops in 20 cities.
