Mariah Carey reminisced about working with Ariana Grande and called it a “cool moment”
In a recent interview with People, the Queen of Christmas gushed over collaborating with the Disney alum.
The pair first teamed up for Oh Santa! in 2010 and in February for Yes, And?’s official remix.
“I thought it would be something that would be fun because we had already worked together at that point, and it was just a cool little moment to have,” the 55-year-old told the outlet over the phone.
“And I love her. I think she’s amazing,” Carey gushed.
Carey also appreciated the Wicked star for being “a really nice person.”
“She’s super talented, and working together was really fun,” the We Belong Together singer added of Grande.
The Thank U, Next hitmaker took to her official Instagram account to celebrate Yes, And? release with a fun clip of her and Carey.
“I love you so much @mariahcarey yes, and? remix out now,” Grande admired Carey in the caption.
“Love you Ari!!!” Carey commented, adding, “Thank you for having me on this record.”
