Meghan Markle has expressed her gratitude to Netflix for believing in her.

The Duchess of Sussex opened up about the successful launch of her lifestyle brand, As Ever, in the latest episode of her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder.

While admitting to feeling “self-doubt” ahead of the launch, she highlighted the critical role Netflix played in validating her entrepreneurial efforts.

For those unaware, Meghan, wife of Prince Harry, initially released her lifestyle show on Netflix With Love, Meghan, which has already been renewed for the next season, followed by her lifestyle brand, As Ever. She then launched her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder on April 8.

Speaking with the guest speaker Hannah Mendoza, founder of Clevr Blends, Meghan said, “Netflix coming on as my business partner is huge. Just having a global powerhouse that believed in me, and the site selling out in the first 45 minutes of launch – everything, every single piece that we had been working on.”

“That told me that customers — people — believed in me and this vision. That’s all you really want as a founder. That becomes your proof point that those late nights and the midnight musings are worth it,” the Duchess of Sussex added.

It is worth mentioning that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s partnership with Netflix isn’t new.

The royal couple signed a multi-year deal with the streaming giant in 2020 and have since launched various projects under their Archewell Productions banner, including the Harry & Meghan docuseries and the Heart of Invictus documentary.
