Alas, the cesspool of negativity that plagues social media more often than not refused to use any logic or simple elementary school math and criticized Millie for her current appearance in a Dec. 29 mirror selfie.

The 20-year-old actor posted a dolled-up selfie with her Louis Vuitton bag, iPhone charm, floral dress, and red lipstick, and instead of just leaving a compliment or keeping it moving, several detractors took an opportunity to speak on her appearance.

“Millie’s google history : “How to look 65 when you are 16,” one user wrote.

“U look 35 what happened??” another user wrote.

Like her Stranger Things character, Millie defeated the bad guys with a flick-of-the-wrist when she responded in her Instagram Stories on Jan. 1.

“Women grow!!” Millie wrote. “Not sorry about it :)”

Text on image reads:

Millie shut that down real quick.

Despite the unnecessarily disgusting comments, there was a lot of love and praise for Millie’s mirror selfie, including a series of white hearts from her husband, Jake Bongiovi.

After three years of dating, Millie and Jake were married in a private ceremony on May 18, 2024. They had a second, larger wedding in Tuscany, Italy.

Christy Carlson-Romano said what all of us millennials were thinking. “Babe I think we’re sisters…” because the actors definitely have some similarities.

And, of course, Millie’s fans came in loud and proud in defense of the Enola Holmes star.

“Omg guys can yall just let a girl breathe,” one fan wrote.

And finally, my favorite response was someone recognizing that she wasn’t using a Samsung Galaxy phone. If you don’t know why that’s funny, watch this this or this.
