Millie Bobby Brown’s shocking confession about ‘Stranger Things’ finale resurfaces
Millie Bobby Brown, the lead actress of Stranger Things, once made a shocking confession about the show’s ending.
Amid the buzz of upcoming finale season of sci-fi series, the 20-year-old actress confessed that she has been “ready for a while for the show to end” in a throwback interview with Glamour.
Brown told the magazine in 2023 that the show had been holding her back from pursuing other projects.
While talking about it further, the 20-year-old actress, who was 12 at the time when the Netflix show started, said that the show held her from telling stories she was passionate about.
According to the Damsel actress, Stranger Things takes up a lot of time to film.
“It’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about,” said Brown, adding, “So I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you, and goodbye.’”
Before concluding, the Enola Holmes actress acknowledged the impact the show had on her career and popularity but also stated it was time.
The Duffer Brothers‘ show is about a group of friends in the 1980s who discover supernatural forces and government secrets in their small town of Hawkins, Indiana.
The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is expected to be released in 2025.
