Morgan Wallen ‘remains committed’ to positivity amid week long incarceration

Morgan Wallen was just detained for a week!
Months after being arrested for throwing a chair from the roof of a Nashville bar, the country music icon would now be spending seven days at a DUI education center.
A Nashville judge sentenced the 31-year-old Wasted On You singer to a week of incarceration, serving at a DUI education center as well as a two year probation period.
Each year being for his misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment along with the payment of a $350 fine and court fees.
Speaking to PEOPLE magazine, Wallen’s attorney, Worrick Robinson IV, issued a statement, saying, “Mr. Wallen has cooperated fully with authorities throughout these last eight months, directly communicating and apologizing to all involved.”
“Mr. Wallen remains committed to making a positive impact through his music and foundation,” he further mentioned.
Due to judicial diversion, the Whiskey Glasses crooner, after successfully completing the requirements of his probation, would have his charges eligible for dismissal and expungement.
For the unversed, Morgan Wallen was arrested on April 7 after he threw a chair from the roof of Chief’s Bar. He was charged with three counts of disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment.
