Netflix breaks silence on sending legal threats over Meghan Markle criticism

Meghan Markle’s Netflix show With Love, Meghan received mixed reviews from the viewers.
A celebrity chef Jameson Stocks also criticised the Duchess of Sussex’s show, claiming it is “hard to watch.”
Notably, on May 1, 2025, the chef, who once cooked for King Charles, claimed that his remarks about Meghan’s show led to a warning from Netflix.
“I got a lawyer’s letter from Netflix after I spoke out against her, warning me. I proper p***** them off. Netflix did not like it and came after me,” he told MailOnline.
However, Netflix has denied sending any warning to James, as reported by The Independent.
A spokesperson for the streaming giant told the outlet, “No legal letter was sent to Jameson Stocks from Netflix.”
Meghan Markle’s Netflix show With Love, Meghan was released on March 4, 2025. Despite receiving mixed reviews from the viewers, the streaming giant has already renewed the show for season 2.
