New FTC rule will make it easier to cancel subscriptions and memberships

The Federal Trade Commission says it’s going to make canceling costly subscriptions and memberships easier. The “click-to-cancel” rule will force companies to make canceling a subscription or service just as easy as signing up. The FTC says the rule will take at least six months to go into effect.
