Newly-engaged Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart got Hailey Bieber, Ivanka Trump’s help

Chainsmokers musician Drew Taggart orchestrated the ‘perfect’ engagement surprise for Marianne Fonseca with Hailey Bieber and Ivanka Trump’s help.

Taggart, 34, proposed to Fonseca, also 34, at Los Angeles celeb fave Giorgio Baldi, which the Brazilian model initially thought was reserved for her girls’ night with her pal Trump, Page Six reported.

To her surprise, Fonseca saw Taggart waiting with a romantic proposal.

A source spilled to the publication that it was Trump who “played the ultimate wing woman, orchestrating the dinner” and keeping its real purpose a secret.

“In addition to Ivanka orchestrating a clever girls’ night diversion,” said a source, “Drew enlisted the help of Marianne’s inner circle to make the engagement unforgettable.”

Sources then spoke of Hailey Bieber’s contribution to the surprise.

“When it came to selecting the perfect ring—a stunning 5-carat elongated cushion-cut diamond—Drew asked what Marianne wanted. The decision for the elongated stone came from Marianne’s good friend Hailey Bieber.” 

Fonseca and Taggart’s engagement comes after a year of dating. The musician previously sparked romance rumours with Selena Gomez in January 2023, who has now been dating Benny Blanco for over a year.
