Olivia Colman not allowed to get Christmas tree
Olivia Colman has admitted that her family has to convince the actress not to put their Christmas tree up too early.
The 50-year-old actress in an interview with Britain’s HELLO! magazine shared her excitement about the winter holiday and revealed, “I get excited about Christmas from the beginning of October.”
According to Colman, she loves Christmas so much.
The Paddington in Peru actress went on to share, “I try to delay getting the Christmas tree, otherwise it looks really unhappy by Christmas.”
“I’m not allowed to get it before December,” said the actress, adding, “certainly, because the family go, ‘It’s a shame when it’s bald by Christmas Day.’”
The Crown actress, who shares two sons and a daughter with husband Ed Sinclair, said, “We have a thing where we always press play on ‘It’s Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas’, so we decorate the tree to that music every year.”
It is notable to mention, the 50-year-old actress delivered great performances in movies like The Favourite, Wonka and Accused as well as TV shows like The Crown, Heartstopper and Broadchurch.
