Paul Anderson reinvents himself with striking transformation
Paul Anderson, known for playing Arthur Shelby Jr. in Peaky Blinders, showed off a new haircut while working on a film version of the show.
On Tuesday, November 26, Anderson took to his Instagram and shared a different look from his Peaky Blinders character.
Showing off his transformation, he hinted at a possible photoshoot by scribbling a caption that read, “New chop…. Front cover ‘game’ COME ON!!”
The 42-year-old actor has changed his usual look and opted for platinum blonde hair this time.
The very popular BBC crime drama Peaky Blinders ended after six seasons in 2022, which was set in Birmingham during the early 1900s industrial revolution.
Now, Anderson is filming a new movie called The Immortal Man in the Dudley Canals, along with Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby, the criminal leader.
Murphy told Deadline, saying, “It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me… It is very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This is one for the fans.”
The forthcoming movie will also have new stars like Barry Koeghan, Rebecca Ferguson, and Tim Roth.
Moreover, in June this year, it was confirmed that the original writer and director are coming back for the movie, which will be on Netflix.
Director Tom Harper shared his excitement, saying, “When I first directed Peaky Blinders over 10 years ago, we didn’t know what the series would become, but we did know that there was something in the alchemy of the cast and the writing that felt explosive.
“Peaky has always been a story about family – and so it’s incredibly exciting to be reuniting with Steve and Cillian to bring the movie to audiences across the world on Netflix,” Harper concluded.
It is pertinent to mention that the show started in 2013 and became a big hit, both in the UK and around the world, featuring well-known movie stars like Anya Taylor-Joy and Tom Hardy.
