Pedro Pascal’s Transgender Sister, Lux Pascal, Just Shared Her Pride For His Unwavering Support Of The Trans Community

In the interview, Lux — who is also an actor — said that her big brother played a pivotal role in her transition “and has served as a guide” for her. She explained: “He was one of the first people to gift me the tools that started shaping my identity.”

Lux also recalled coming out as trans to Pedro over FaceTime, and how his initial response was to ask how she felt. When she told him that she was happy, Pedro immediately congratulated her, with Lux remembering him telling her: “Perfect, this is incredible.”

Pedro shared Lux’s cover story to his Instagram page at the time, writing: “Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux,” which translates to, “my sister, my heart, our Lux,” and when he was asked about her transition in an interview with Esquire, Pedro noted that he wasn’t comfortable to “speak on her behalf,” but made it clear that he will always have her back. 

“She is and has always been one of the most powerful people and personalities I’ve ever known,” he said. “My protective side is lethal, but I need her more than she needs me.”
