Queen Elizabeth II services lauded after VE Day 2025
Queen Elizabeth II was dearly missed by at the VE Day tomorrow in London.
Her Majesty, who was emotionally connected to the World War II veteran, left an impact on the world with her generosity.
The Buckingham Palace event was joined by the entire Senior members of the Royal Family including King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Speaking about the balcony appearance of the Royals, former photographer Arthur Edwards notes: “World War II veterans adored Queen Elizabeth — she was one of the great generation — and wherever she met them, the world over, they had a special bond with their monarch.”
“I’m sure many of the veterans in Londonyesterday wished, like me, that she had been there for what will probably be the last time we will be able to say a heartfelt thank you on a grand scale like this,” he adds.
