Quinta Brunson’s Latest Transformation Has Left Celebrities And Fans Totally Captivated, And We’re Not Surprised
“Hey Siri, play ‘Short and Sweet’ by Sabrina Carpenter.”
We need to talk about Quinta Brunson for a moment.
Yes, Quinta’s hilarious sitcom Abbott Elementary is back.
I didn’t even get five seconds into the Season 4 premiere without cracking up, but there are more pressing matters we need to address.
And when I say “pressing,” I specifically mean Quinta’s new hairdo.
The actor/comedian has rocked many a mini-haircut, but this time, the internet and a whole menagerie of celebrities are thirsting for Miss Quinta when she paired her hairstyle with some throwback fashion.
Here’s Quinta in a Brat green trenchcoat, a burgundy, white-pinstriped shirt, and a skirt from Forte Forte’s Spring 2025 collection.
But, the main event happened when she was spotted in New York for Good Morning America wearing this beige double-breasted coat, Meshki checkered mini dress, and over-the-knee boots from Larroudé.
The celebrities fell head over boot-heels in love with Quinta’s look.
And the fans pointed out that Quinta was subtly paying homage to one of the flyest eras of Black women in fashion — the ’90s.

If you remember, the ’90s girlies were eating us up with the pixie cuts:
Nia Long had one of the freshest pixie cuts, Sunday through Friday.
Jada Pinkett Smith really set it off back then with the short hair.
Don’t take it personally, but Monica could rock the short hair better than almost everybody.
To this day, Academy Award winner Halle Berry wears short hairstyles like it’s a professional sport, and she’s in the Hall of Fame.
Quinta Brunson (the Queen that you are), welcome to the Mount Rushmore of Black women with the perfect pixie cut.
