Romeo Beckham breaks silence after Brooklyn’s no-show at David’s birthday

Romeo Beckham surprised his dad David Beckham with another 50th birthday tribute over the weekend.

After the football legend’s eldest son Brooklyn, 26, and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz, 30, snubbed the family on all three major celebrations, 22-year-old Romeo stepped up to make feel David special with a birthday speech on Saturday.

David’s second eldest son Romeo delivered the speech during a lavish dinner at Core restaurant in London’s Notting Hill on Saturday night where they were surrounded by the Manchester United star’s closest friends and family.

Romeo could be seen clutching several cue cards in his hand as he arrived at the London venue

Romeo then reportedly told guests, “Good evening everyone. I would like to start by thanking you all for being here tonight. I know without many of you in here tonight he wouldn’t be half of the man he is today. But to the man of the moment.”

Romeo has been supportive throughout his dad’s birthday celebrations as he also dedicated another speech at last month’s pre-birthday celebrations in Miami.

Reports claim that Romeo knew Brooklyn was unlikely to attend their dad’s party, despite both him and Nicola being in the UK.

It’s also been reported that Brooklyn’s absence was due to his clash with Romeo for his choice of girlfriend.
