Ryan Reynolds reprises his ‘Deadpool’ role with mind-blowing twist
Ryan Reynolds has once again reprised his Deadpool role in order to help children in need ahead of Christmas holidays.
The 48-year-old actor took to Instagram and shared a new video in which he could be seen taking over Santa Claus’ duties in support of the SickKids Foundation.
“Don’t need a lasso to say how thankful I am for @sickkidsvs,’ Ryan captioned his video post, which also features guest star former Wonder Woman actress Lynda Carter.
In the video, Reynolds appeared on a rooftop in his foul-mouthed antihero character’s costume with what appeared to be Santa’s sleigh.
“Benevolence is thirsty work!” he could be seen shouting as he tossed a bag into it while his daughter Inez, who played Kidpool in Deadpool & Wolverine, sat in it.
“Where to next?” his eight-year-old daughter asked as they prepared for the next stop of the night.
“Well, I thought we’d eliminate sick kids,” Reynolds in the video replied.
“Oh, dude, that’s so f***ed up,” Inez said as Deadpool sputtered and tried to correct himself.
“We’re eliminating the sickness by encouraging people to donate,” he clarified.
Later in the vied, Carter’s character is seen approaching towards the two.
“Did someone call for help?” she asked before breaking into an ear-to-ear grin.
“Aren’t you a … wonderful woman,” Reynold’s character as Deadpool said.
At the end of the clip, Deadpool said they should untie Santa after finishing their work, but Kidpool shouted “Never!”
