Sarah Ferguson comes out in support of Eugenie as Princess left in ‘difficult position’
Sarah Ferguson has extended support to her younger daughter Princess Eugenie amid reports that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Christmas invite has put her in ‘difficult position.’
According to a report by the Mirror, Princess Eugenie is facing a festive dilemma, having been extended an invite by Harry and Meghan to spend Christmas with them in Montecito, California.
The insider has claimed: “Harry and Meghan have invited Eugenie and Jack to join them in California during the holidays. It’s a very difficult position for Eugenie because she has also been invited to Sandringham.”
The royal source said, “Eugenie is in a difficult position because she’s always been close to Harry, but she is mindful of how that relationship could affect her standing with the rest of her family.
“She is always trying to manage a difficult balancing act which can become quite tiresome at times.”
Amid these reports, Sarah Ferguson took to Instagram and shared video clips of Eugenie’s Anti-slavery collective to promote her efforts, saying “Visit the anti-slavery collective and educate yourselves on modern slavery. A very real problem, and what is happening right here in the UK. We must keep raising awareness.”
